IRCTC has launched an AI chat bot named Ask Disha a digital interaction to seek help. it answer all queries of the passengers related to the journey. Apart from English, Disha is able to answer your query in Hindi and Hinglish too. Just you need to give command to Ask Disha by voice or chat you will get prompt reply.

Have you ever faced a problem of slow responding website at the time of tatkal booking. It is just because IRCTC server is overloaded. Irctc website or app showing error that unable to process your request due to heavy traffic that leads to the logout problem.

Irctc has given a best easy and secure tool Ask Disha 2.0 that help you to book tatkal ticket even in festival season. First i will let you know what all things are required before booking tatkal or general ticket though Irctc Ai chatbot.

Things Required for booking tatkal ticket using Ask Disha 2.0

Follow these steps for booking-

  • First you need to open Irctc website or Mobile app click Ask Disha chatbot at bottom right side corner for website.

  • Enter your journey detail and select tatkal as journey quota then click book ticket to get list of the train.

  • Now select the preferred train and click on AC at 10 am and  Sleeper SL at 11 am for tatkal ticket.
  • When tatkal booking opens Book Ticket button will be highlighted click Book Ticket to go on next page.
  • Now you will be asked for IRCTC User id for otp verification. You will receive otp once the payment is done. Otp will receive at your registered mobile number and email id both.
  • Then you need to enter passenger details or you can save passenger earlier also then click continue. 

  • Now you got an option to enter your boarding station if you wanted to change and click continue.
  • Now review your journey details with fare before proceding for payment.
  • As you click Continue will get many option for payment. I personally recommend of making payment through QR scanner visible at your screen for fast payment and if you want to send request on upi id click on UPI option and enter UPI id where you wanted to receive request for payment.
  • After making payment you will be send otp at your registered mobile or email id both . As you enter your otp your ticket will be booked and PNR will be visible at your screen. Ticket will be send at your registered email id and your mobile number, you can also take print after login in your irctc user account.
